The Smartphone is Absent

Concluding our Perspectives series is conceptual artist Esmeralda Kosmatopoulos, who asks big questions about being human in a time of omnipresent technology. In the work she's presenting at the 2016 Pulse Contemporary Art Fair, she tells us how, in showing everyday actions with a twist, she's not necessarily criticizing technology, but challenging the viewer to re-examine what we may take for granted in our constant transcendence of physical frontiers.
